Located in the heart of Seoul, South Korea, Gongpyong Office Plaza is defined by its striking twin tower facade, where transparency and solidity are carefully balanced through the interplay of glass and ceramic surfaces. The facade composition creates a harmonious weaving pattern across the towers, contrasting fully transparent glass panels and Laminam's CALCE/Nero.
Large format ceramic slabs in the 1000 x 3000mm size and 3mm thickness were utilised across the facade, offering a lightweight cladding solution without compromising durability. Reinforced with fibreglass backing, the slabs provide excellent resistant against atmospheric agents and wear, making them well suited for large scale exterior applications.
